Why women in Los Angeles choose an Ilan Wain sheitel

  • Kosher supervision: made under the hashgacha of Rabbi Gross of Bnei Brak.
  • Natural human hair only: no synthetic fibers in a custom Ilan Wain wig.
  • Multidirectional weave and hand-sewn cap: the hair parts and moves freely, with a natural-looking crown.
  • Designed for you: color, length, cut and styling are built around your face and coloring, not taken off a rack.
  • Finished by Ilan: the same designer handles the consultation, the cut, the color and the styling.
  • Discreet, one-on-one service: appointments are private and handled with discretion.

How a custom kosher wig is made

  1. Consultation. You meet Ilan at the salon to talk about how you wear your sheitel day to day, and to choose the hair, length, color and cap fit.
  2. Design and construction. The wig is made from natural human hair with a multidirectional weave on a hand-sewn cap.
  3. Color. Ilan colors the wig to suit your skin tone and features.
  4. Cut and styling. Ilan cuts and styles the sheitel so it frames your face and looks natural.
  5. Blending your own hair. If you like, Ilan cuts and colors your natural hair so it coordinates seamlessly with the wig.
